Colin began his career as a motoring journalist in Manchester then moved on to become Scottish Editor of Farmers Weekly, based in Edinburgh.
After taking on the same role with Farming News, plus additional freelance journalism, radio and TV, he established his own PR consultancy in the 1980s. His current clients include the rural business division of a major UK bank, a Norwegian food group, an English scientific research company and a Scottish trade association.
He maintains his journalism through regular writing contracts with an international fish farming journal and a UK food trade publication.
